  1. To begin with, prepare the syrup. Fill a pot with 500 ml of water. Add the juice of one lemon and sugar. Boil everything for 10-15 minutes. Leave it to cool down.
  2. The next step of the pikelet recipe is making the dough.
  3. Fill the pan with the rest of water. Add butter and a pinch of salt. Boil this mass one more time!
  4. Add the flour and start stirring the mass. Take the pan off the fire. Leave everything to cool down for several minutes.
  5. Add raw eggs one by one. Stir the liquid, adding each egg!
  6. The dough will be smooth and attractive at the end.
  7. Form round pikelets. They shouldn`t be too big!
  8. Fill the pan with the vegetable oil. Add raw balls into the pan. Cook them from both times until they are golden-yellow.
  9. Take the pikelets out of the pot and put them into the bowl with the sweet syrup immediately!
  10. Crash pistachios. Use them to decorate the snacks. If you like, you may replace them with any other nuts you like.
