  1. Take a baking dish and lubricate it with butter. Crush the leftovers of the dry bread and put them into the baking dish. Set it aside.
  2. Take a saucepan and heat whole milk in it. Do not bring it to boil!
  3. In the big bowl you’ll need to whisk eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt. Slowly pour the hot milk into this bowl and mix everything carefully.
  4. Add cinnamon and vanilla. The mass will become very fragrant.
  5. If you want to add raisins or any other dry fruit, you should do it right now.
  6. Pour the creamy fragrant liquid over bread. Don’t forget to add nutmeg.
  7. Bake this bread pudding for 50 minutes. Check whether the dish is ready, using a toothpick or knife. When the toothpick inserted into the middle of the pudding comes out clean, you can take the dessert out of the oven.
