Tender Thin Potato Pies. Just Melt in Your Mouth!

Hello. Today I will share with you the potato pies recipe: very tender taste, thin dough and many potato filling. The potato pies recipe is easy and the ingredients are very simple, but the yam pie recipe will be your favorite. Let’s start!

Ingredients:

For the dough:
250 ml potato broth
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
½  teaspoon salt
8.8 ounces (250 g). for the dough and
1.76-3.5 ounces (50-100 g) for kneading flour

For the filling:
8 PCs potato
1 onion  .
1.76-3.5 ounces (50-100 g) butter
½ teaspoon salt

Tender thin potato pies. Just melt in your mouth, recipe

  1. Peel the potatoes, put in a pot, add salt and bring to a boil
  2. Chop onion finely, put in a pan, add some vegetable oil and saute until soft
  3. Drain the potato broth in a bowl, put the bowl in cold water to quickly cool
  4. Add butter to the potato and mash
  5. Add fried onion and mash again until soft. The filling is ready
  6. Pour warm potato broth in a deep bowl, add sugar, dry yeast, salt and mix
  7. Put the sifted flour to the broth, knead the dough with a spatula. The dough will be soft and sticky. Do not add more flour
  8. Cover and set aside for 1 hour
  9. After 1 hour sprinkle the table with flour and put the dough
  10. Knead the dough, add the flour if necessary. The dough should be soft, elastic and not  sticky
  11. Divide the dough into 12 parts
  12. Form a ball from each part
  13. Take one ball and make a round flat pellet with your hands
  14. Put one tablespoon of filling and stick the edges together
  15. Turn the pie seam side down and squeeze it with your hands to the 5-7mm thickness
  16. Make the same with all balls
  17. Pour the vegetable oil on the frying pan and heat well
  18. Squeeze the pies again before frying
  19. Fry on the pan until golden brown on each side
  20. Serve and enjoy!
