Tender Soft Pies with the Meat Filling


These tender small pies can be eaten as a breakfast, snack or even dinner. This is one of the best family recipes.
I`ve tried to cook these pies for several times and managed to find the perfect combination of the ingredients. If you follow my instructions, your pies will be soft and filled with juicy meat. You`ll like this taste and fragrant!

  1. First, cook the delicious and thick dough. Preheat 100 ml of milk. Pour it into the glass and mix with sugar and dry yeast.
  2. Cover the glass with the plastic wrap. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Take a separate bowl and mix sour cream with 3 eggs and vegetable oil in it. Add 2 tbsp of sugar and salt to taste. Mix all these ingredients well, using a whisk or a powerful blender.
  4. Add yeast into this bowl and mix everything one more time. Finally add the flour and knead the dough.
  5. It should be thick, smooth and non-sticky. Cover the bowl with the dough with the plastic wrap and leave it for 2.5 hours.
  6. Now it`s time to cook the yummy filling. Chop onion and grate the carrot. If you add enough vegetables, the filling will be very yummy and juicy!
  7. Preheat the frying pan with the vegetable oil. Add chopped onion and grated carrot. Then add minced meat and cook everything on the slow fire.
  8. Add 1 tsp of salt and 0.5 tsp of pepper into this mass. Mix everything well and stew until meat is ready.
  9. If you think that the filling is too dry, you may add 1 or 2 spoons of the broth.
  10. Leave the filling to cool down.
  11. Now divide the dough into several parts. Flatten each one and fill it with the minced meat. Form small pies.
  12. Put all of them into the tray and cover it with the towel. Leave everything for 0.5 hour.
  13. Bake yummy pies for 25-30 minutes at 356 F.
