Instructions:
  1. Flan is a light dessert that you can cook in several minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Take a saucepan and heat sugar in it. It should slowly melt and turn into golden caramel. Stir it constantly so that the caramel doesn’t burn. Remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Pour this caramel into a baking pan. Try to form an even layer on the bottom of the pan.
  4. Find another bowl and beat cream cheese in it. It should be very smooth. Slowly add the eggs one by one. Beat them with the cream cheese for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add sweet condensed milk into the bowl. Pour evaporated milk, mixing it with the rest of the ingredients. Add vanilla and turn everything into a smooth mass.
  6. Pour all these ingredients into the pot, covered with a layer of caramel.
  7. Fill the pan with water and put it on the lower rack of the oven. Put the baking pan with the caramel flan higher. This will keep the tender homemade flan with the caramel from cracking. This way the dessert won't be spoiled.
  8. Bake your caramel flan for 1 hour. Then remove your dessert from the oven and leave it in the fridge for 8 hours to chill.
  9. If you want your dessert to be even sweeter and more tender, cover each portion of the flan with one more layer of caramel.
