Instructions:
  1. Start cooking tuna casserole by preheating the oven to 350 F. Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil.
  2. Boil noodles in salty water, following the instructions on the pack. When the noodles are ready, drain the liquid carefully.
  3. In the meantime you need to cook the mushrooms. Heat the pan with a small amount of butter. Add sliced mushrooms into it. After 2 minutes, add chopped onion and season the dish. Cook everything for 3-5 minutes until all the veggies are soft.
  4. Transfer these ingredients to a bowl.
  5. Add more butter into the frying pan. Wait until it melts and slowly stir in white flour. Add almond milk. Mix everything carefully to make everything smooth. Cook it for several minutes until the sauce is thick enough. Remove the pan from the heat and add garlic powder.
  6. Grate hard cheese and add it into the bowl together with the sauce. Now add noodles, mashed tuna and vegetables as well.
  7. Transfer everything into a baking tray. You can also cook the topping. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and melted butter. Top the tuna casserole with this mass and bake for 25 minutes.
