Instructions:
  1. Start by preparing the funnel cake batter. Take a large bowl and whisk eggs in it. Pour in milk. Add dry ingredients. Slowly stir in baking powder, flour and salt. Mix everything carefully until the batter is smooth enough.
  2. Leave the batter in a warm place for 30 minutes. In the meantime you can prepare a strawberry sauce.
  3. All you need is to put a pan on the oven, fill it with water and sugar. Bring it to boil and reduce the heat. Cut the strawberries into slices and add them into the pan as well.
  4. Simmer the sauce for 4-6 minutes. Berries will become soft.
  5. Now you need to add cornstarch and vanilla. Cook the sauce for an additional 3-5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
  6. Get down to frying the dough. Preheat a frying pan with the oil. Fill a pastry bag with batter and form spiral circles in the pan. Cook it for 3 minutes. Then turn it over carefully. Continue frying for 2 more minutes.
  7. Transfer it to a plate, covered with paper towels. Leave it to cool down. Repeat the same with the rest of the dough.
  8. Cover each funnel cake with strawberry sauce. Dust it with sugar powder.
