Tart with Apples

Tart is the cake with the stuffing on the top of it. Usually, this dessert is cooked with apples. However, you may use pieces of pears or plums instead. There are even recipes including vegetables. Still, I prefer to cook classical tart and now I want to share this recipe with you. It looks great. And personally I think that this combination of ingredients is amazing!

Instructions:
  1. First, cook the filling. Melt butter in the deep frying pan on the slow fire.
  2. Slowly add sugar into the pan.
  3. Cook it on the big fire without stirring. The bottom of the sugar layer should be caramelized. Then take the pan off the fire.
  4. Peel apples and cut each one into 4 pieces. Get rid of the core.
  5. Put them on the plate, covered with sugar. They should be placed close to each other.
  6. Put it on the fire again and cook for 15 minutes. The sugar will melt and apples will be caramelized.
  7. Take baking form and fill it with apple slices. Pour caramel on the top of it.
  8. Now it`s time to make the dough. Fill deep bowl with the flour, add salt and mix everything well. Grate cold butter on the coarse grater. Slowly mix it with the flour. The bowl should be filled with cold crumbs.
  9. Dig a hole in this dry mass. Fill it with cold water.
  10. Mix everything, using your hands. Form a ball. Do not mix it for a long time. Otherwise you won`t get the result you want.
  11. Dust the table with the flour. Roll the dough.
  12. Put it into the tray, forming the edges.
  13. Preheat the oven to 392 degrees. Bake your tart for 35-40 minutes. Then take it out of the oven.
  14. Cover this form with the plate. Turn it over. In this case, caramelized apples will be on the top of this cake. You may see it on the photo.
