Instructions:
  1. Wash the chicken and wipe it using paper towel. Cut the chicken into pieces.
  2. Prepare all the spices (except saffron). Peel and grate the ginger and garlic. Cook all these spices in a dry frying pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the yoghurt with the grated garlic and ginger. Add lime or lemon juice.
  4. Infuse saffron in 2 tbsp of hot water for 5 minutes. Pour the saffron-water infusion into the bowl with the yoghurt marinade. Add the fried spices into the bowl as well.
  5. Put the pieces of chicken into a heatproof oven dish and add spicy marinade. Leave it to set for 5 minutes. Bake the marinated chicken in a preheated oven for 5 minutes. Reduce the temperature and continue baking the poultry until the dish is fully cooked.
