Instructions:
  1. Start cooking this pie with making perfect pastry dough. Cut butter into large cubes and leave them in the bowl in the warm place.
  2. Take another bowl and combine dry ingredients in it. Mix sugar with salt and all purpose flour.
  3. Now combine dry ingredients with butter.
  4. Slowly stir in sour cream. Mix everything one more time and form dough ball. Cover it with plastic wrap. Transfer it to the fridge for an hour.
  5. In the meantime cook tender caramelized pears. First, peel pears and cut each one in two pieces. Transfer them to the large bowl and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice. In this case they wil remain fresh and light.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to your pears.
  7. In the frying pan melt the leftovers of butter and mix with the rest of sugar. When the butter melts, arrange pears in the pan. Sauté everything for 20 minutes. You`ll love the smell and the fragrant of the soft pears.
  8. Now, sprinkle everything with dry ground ginger and nutmeg. You can also add cinnamon to taste.
  9. Take the dough out of the fridge. Roll the dough and cover caramelized pears with it.
  10. Transfer the pan to the oven and cook everything at 375 F for a half an hour.
  11. When you`re done, remove the pan from the oven. Turn the pie over. Transfer it to the large plate. You`re ready to serve it!

Serve it warm. Top it with a ball of ice cream and add caramel or liquid honey. Enjoy the taste of your dessert!

If you want to save your time, use precooked or even store-bought dough. It`s also a good idea to add cranberries or dry fruit on the top of your dessert.
