  1. To begin with, make the filling. To make it tender, grind poppy seeds, using coffee grinder.
  2. Transfer this mass to the medium bowl. Add 1 cup of sugar powder. Stir in 2 tbsp of melted butter. Pour in warm milk. Mix everything carefully.
  3. Set the bowl with the filing aside.
  4. Preheat 1 cup of milk on the water bath. Add dry yeast and let it dissolve.
  5. Stir in all-purpose flour, sugar, salt and eggs. Mix everything. If you need, use a food processor. Add melted butter and mix everything one more time.
  6. Dust the table with the leftovers of the flour. Knead the dough carefully until it is smooth.
  7. Cover it with the plastic wrap and leave in the warm place for 1 hour. It will double in size and become softer.
  8. Now put the dough back on the table and divide it in two pieces. Flatten each one, forming a rectangle.
  9. Cover each rectangle with the filling. Form tight roll carefully.
  10. Prepare baking tray. Cover it with the parchment. Arrange both rolls in it.
  11. Preheat the oven to 350 F. If you want your rolls with poppy seeds to be tastier, brush each one with the portion of melted butter.
  12. Bake rolls for 50-60 minutes. Be careful for the pastry not to burn.

When you`re done, remove the tray with rolls out of the oven. Cut each roll into smaller slices and enjoy the taste of your sweet pastry.
If you want to make you dish healthier, replace sugar with honey. You can also add raisins and other dry fruit to the filling.
