Instructions:
  1. Take a large bowl and mix dry ingredients in it. Combine all-purpose flour with sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  2. Grate hard frozen butter on the coarse grater. Mix it with dry ingredients.
  3. Mix it with a fork or with your hands. The dough will turn into crumbs. Now you can leave the bowl with the dough in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the fridge for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Now you need to mix all wet ingredients. Whisk an egg and mix it with heavy cream. Add vanilla to make everything more fragrant.
  5. Take the bowl with the dough and add creamy mass into it together with fresh blueberries. Mix everything carefully.
  6. Knead the dough very carefully and form a ball. The dough will be slightly sticky. If you think it to be too dry, add more cream.
  7. Form scones carefully. Dust them with sugar and transfer the scones to a baking tray, covered with parchment. Leave it for 15 minutes in the fridge.
  8. In the oven preheated to 400 F, bake the pastries for 20 minutes. When your scones are ready, leave them to cool down. If you like, you may top each scone with vanilla icing.

To save yourself some time, you can prepare cold butter beforehand. Grate frozen butter, pack it into container and leave it In the freezer. When you will need to cook tasty scones, your main ingredient will be already prepared.
