Instructions:
  1. Peel the potatoes and wash it carefully. Cut each potato into small cubes.
  2. Fill the pot with the water and add potato into it. Salt everything to taste. Bring the bouillon to boil. Wait until the potato is half-ready.
  3. In the meantime, slice the onion. Cut the pepper into thin half-rings.
  4. If you use frozen ground beef in this recipe, don’t forget to defrost it beforehand. The best way to do so is to leave the meat overnight in the fridge. You can also cook ground beef at home. Traditionally, to cook such a dish, chefs use tough pieces of meat. We recommend you to follow this time-tested advice so that your stew will have more flavor. Grind them carefully. If you like, you can add a small piece of lard or a cut of lamb.
  5. Now put the beef on the plate and add salt and pepper. Mix everything with your hands. Set the plate with the meat aside.
  6. Now put the big stew pot on the oven. Add oil and minced garlic. Wait until the oil becomes fragrant. Now you can take the garlic out.
  7. Add ground beef into the pot, stirring it constantly. Sauté the meal in the pot until the meat is half-ready. And now again, take this ingredient out of the pot as well.
  8. Ground beef meals always taste better when cooked with a large amount of vegetables. So, fill the pot with the leftovers of the oil and juice with the sliced onion and peppers. Add minced garlic as well. Sauté these ingredients for several minutes. Pour water into the pot. Heat and leave to simmer for 5-7 minutes. Keep in mind that the liquid shouldn’t boil. It’s very important!
  9. Add the half-boiled potatoes into the pan as well. Pour more water if needed. Simmer for three minutes and add meat. Now reduce the heat and continue cooking until all the ingredients are soft and very tender.
