I like cooking different vegetable snacks. It`s real pleasure to create something new for your close people. Such snacks are always tender and delicious. Another positive moment is that you do not need much time to cook veggies. So, let`s get down to cooking pepper stuffed with ham and cheese. This recipe is one of the easiest and the most interesting in my collection.

  1. Before you start cooking, put processed cheese into the freezer. It`s easier to work with it when it`s frozen.
  2. Cut ham into small squares. Use sharp knife. When everything is done, put cut ham into the small bowl.
  3. Chop parsley and dill. It will be both: decoration and the source of vitamins. Add it into the bowl with ham.

  5. Take cheese out of the freezer. Grate it and put into the bowl too.
  6. Now it`s time to melt butter. There are several ways to do it. First, you may simply put it on the table in the warm room. Unfortunately, I usually forget to do it. That`s why I use another life hack: put it into the microwave oven for several seconds. You can check whether the butter is ready, simply touching it. If it`s soft, put it into the bowl with the rest of ingredients.

  8. Now mix everything using the fork. The filling is bright and beautiful.
  9. Actually, this is it. Now it`s time to prepare peppers. I recommend to find big vegetables. They are easier to peel and cut. Cut off the “head” and get rid of the core.
  10. The most interesting part is filling peppers. They should be stuffed very well.
  11. Hide stuffed peppers into the fridge for several hours for the butter to cool down. It makes all the ingredients stick together. While they are in the fridge, watch your favourite TV-show or drink a cup of hot tea.
  12. In several hours take peppers out of the fridge and cut them with the sharp knife into thin slices.
  13. It`s recommended to clean the knife after cutting each slice of the pepper. It should be done for the slices to be beautiful.
  14. This snack should be served on the big plate. Combine red and green peppers to create beautiful picture.
