This dish is popular in many countries. In Israel it is called “holishkls”, in Serbis – “sarma”, Lithuanians call them “balandeliai” and Russian “golubtsy”. However, it doesn`t matter what is the name of this dish. The main thing is that it is very tasty!

Instructions:
  1. Chop onion and mix it with cooked rice and ground beef. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Mix everything in the large bowl and set it aside.
  3. Preheat the pan with hot water. Separate cabbage leaves. Boil them for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Leave cabbage leaves to cool down. Now you can fill them with the mixture of rice and beef.
  5. Form tight rolls. Preheat the frying pan with the oil. Cook minced garlic in it for a minute. Add tomato sauce and cook for 2-4 minutes.
  6. Transfer all the rolls to the large pan. Pour tomato sauce over them. Add chicken broth. If you want to make your meal spicier, add pepper, paprika or chili powder as well. Cook this dish for 1-2 hours over low heat.

Serve this dish with fresh sour cream or some creamy sauce. Bon Appetit!
