  9. Peel the apples, remove the core, cut it into slices.
  10. Put the apples in a bowl, drizzle them with lemon juice and stir.
  11. Put the apple slices on the dough, press them with a spatula.
  12. Put in the oven, preheated to 392 F (200 C) degrees and bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown and until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean.
