Spaghetti with tomatoes and basil
Gorgeous spaghetti with tomatoes and basil is loved by all Italians. In fact, this dish is really simple. All you need is to buy: whole-wheat pasta and cook it with vegetables and herbs.

First, boil spaghetti. Fill the pan with boiling water. Add salt and vegetable oil. Then add spaghetti. Stir them, using a tablespoon. In this case they won`t be sticky. As for the time of cooking, you do not need to keep spaghetti in the pan for too long. Italians prefer to cook pasta Al Dente.
As soon as your pasta is ready, put it in the strainer and wash. Add 1 spoon of the vegetable oil into the strainer. Leave spaghetti for several minutes.
Meanwhile cook the sauce. Wash tomatoes and peel them. Cut each one crosswise and pour hot water on it. Wait for several seconds. Then pour cold water on these vegetables. Peel tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.
Peel garlic, wash it and cut into small pieces as well.
Wash basil leaves and chop them as well.
Pour olive oil into the frying pan. Actually, you may use any other type of oil, however, olive oil is the best. Add garlic; fry it for a minute or two, stirring constantly. Keep in mind that you should fry it on the slow heat for the garlic not to burn.
Add basil leaves and continue stirring. Cook everything for 1-2 minutes.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and stew the dish for 3-4 minutes. Tomatoes should be half-ready.
Pour boiling water on the top of your spaghetti and put them into the frying pan. Mix everything quickly. Cook your spaghetti for 2 minutes. Take the pan off the fire, put into plates and cover with grated hard cheese.
This dish is fragrant and very yummy. I do not recommend you to cook more than two portions at a time. Bon Appetite!
