  1. To cook easy shrimp and grits, prepare all the ingredients beforehand. If you’re going to use any frozen ingredients, make sure to defrost it beforehand. When you’re ready, get down to boiling the chicken broth. Add uncooked grits into the pan and boil everything for about 5 minutes. The mass in the pan should be thick and flavorful. Remove it from the heat. Add salt pepper and soft melted butter into the pan, stirring these ingredients in.
  2. Take a big non-stick pan with a thick bottom. Heat it for 2-3 minutes and start frying the slices of bacon. Cook them until they are crispy. It will also take about 2-4 minutes. If you want, you can sprinkle everything with the fresh lemon juice.
  3. Now get down to cooking shrimp. Be careful not to spoil everything. Put them into the pan with the leftovers of the fat and cook over a medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Wait for 2 more minutes. Add bacon and grated cheese.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat. Fill the plate with the grits. Add the layer of shrimp, mixed with the rest of the ingredients.

If you want to enrich the taste of the dish, you can cook a delicious sauce. It tastes great with traditional shrimp and grits. You can use spicy Worcestershire sauce or add lean cream. Both ideas are great.
