Sourdough Bread. A Simple Dish for the Whole Family!

Cooking homemade bread is a difficult job – it may take 5-8 hours. Still, the result is always worth it! Today we’ll share with you the recipe for a quick bread, that you can easily cook for your family. This white bread can be used for cooking various sandwiches or eaten with soups.

Instructions:
  1. Fill a pan with water and sugar and heat it to a warm, not hot temperature. Pour the sugary water into a bowl and add more sugar. Mix everything slowly until the sugar melts. Slowly add dry yeast into the bowl. Whip everything with a whisk and leave for 10 minutes in a warm place.
  2. In 10 minutes sift 1 cup of flour through a sieve. Add 2-3 spoons of soft butter. Knead the dough carefully, slowly adding the rest of the flour. It should be soft, tender and a little sticky.
  3. Wet your hands with a small amount of vegetable oil. Cover a deep bowl with the oil as well. Put the dough into it and cover the bowl with plastic wrap and a towel. Put this bowl into a warm place and leave for 40 minutes.
  4. Now you may get down to forming the bread. Remove the plastic wrap and knead the dough one more time. It should still be very tender. Divide the dough in two parts. Baking tray two long loafs.
  5. Put the loafs into 2 baking trays greased with vegetable oil. Leave the loafs for another 40 minutes. If the dough is made of the quality ingredients, it will raise, and its volume will increase.
  6. Now you may put the baking trays into the preheated oven. Bake the loafs for 35-40 minutes. A crunchy crust should form on the top of the loaf.
  7. If the bread isn’t fully baked, leave the bread in the oven for 10-15 more minutes. This bread can be served warm or cold, but never hot. Hot bread will do nothing good to your body. Use this homemade bread recipe to impress all the members of your family!

  • For the bread to be tastier, dust the raw bread with cheese and sesame seeds;
