However, this dessert is more interesting than you can think.
Sopes are made of delicious fried masa. It has the form of a shell and is filled with various vegetables, sauces and sour cream. Traditionally this is light vegetarian recipe. However if you want, you can add meat to make this dish more nutritious.

Instructions:
  1. Mix masa with 1.25 cup of warm water. Mix everything carefully and knead until the dough is smooth. Add more water if needed.
  2. Cover the bowl with the dough with plastic wrap or a towel. Set it aside. In half an hour divide all the dough in 10 pieces.
  3. Preheat grill frying pan and cook flat circles from both sides.
  4. Form tortilla “shells” carefully.
  5. Now it`s time to add toppings. Preheat frying pan. Add vegetable oil. Fry tortilla for 30 more seconds. Add canned beans and shredded chicken. Tore fresh salad leaves. Add them together with grated cheese on the top of each shell. Add onion half-rings. Top everything with spicy sauce and salsa.
  6. The rest of the toppings are optional. We recommend adding chopped tomatoes, avocado wages and pickled jalapeno.
