Russian Pie with Mushrooms and Chicken
Pies used to be one of the traditional Russian dishes. Now you may cook it anywhere. Here is the simple recipe for a pie with poultry and mushrooms.
- Wash and wipe chicken fillet. Cut it into small pieces. Chop mushrooms and onion. Preheat the pan with the vegetable oil. Fry veggies for 7-10 minutes, stirring everything from time to time.
- Now you need to get down to cooking the dough. Whip 2 eggs, add salt, baking soda, mayonnaise and sour cream. Whip everything well. Add the flour. The dough should be thick.
- Lubricate the form with the oil and pour the half of the dough into it. Add the stuffing and the 2nd layer of the dough.
- Preheat the oven to 356-392 F and bake your pie for 50-60 minutes.
When it`s ready, you may cut it into pieces and serve.
