Russian Pie with Mushrooms and Chicken
Pies used to be one of the traditional Russian dishes. Now you may cook it anywhere. Here is the simple recipe for a pie with poultry and mushrooms.
Wash and wipe chicken fillet. Cut it into small pieces. Chop mushrooms and onion. Preheat the pan with the vegetable oil. Fry veggies for 7-10 minutes, stirring everything from time to time.
Now you need to get down to cooking the dough. Whip 2 eggs, add salt, baking soda, mayonnaise and sour cream. Whip everything well. Add the flour. The dough should be thick.
Lubricate the form with the oil and pour the half of the dough into it. Add the stuffing and the 2nd layer of the dough.
Preheat the oven to 356-392 F and bake your pie for 50-60 minutes.
When it`s ready, you may cut it into pieces and serve.
