Quick Grilled Salmon


Salmon is a great source of protein, omega 3s, phosphorus and iodine. This kind of fish is amazingly tasty. That`s why you do not need to cook it for too long. If you want to save this rich taste of sea food, use natural herbs and olive oil. Here is one of such recipes.

  1. Wash salmon and wipe, using paper towels.
  2. Put salmon on the plate and lubricate it with olive oil from both sides. Salt and pepper fish.
  3. Leave salmon for 5 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the frying pan. Do not cover it with butter.
  4. Fry salmon for 3,5 minutes from both sides. If steaks are too thick, cook them for 4 minutes from both sides. Fish will be juicy inside.
  5. Sprinkle salmon with lemon juice, add your favorite spices and serve it with fresh salad.

Tips and tricks:

· Try to choose fresh salmon. If you use frozen fish, defrost it slowly. For example, you may put it on the bottom shelf.
· Take coarse salt. It won`t melt quickly, so you`ll be sure that you add enough spice.
· Use lemon juice to sprinkle cooked salmon not to spoil the taste of red fish.
· You may also experiment with marinades. The best choice is to serve fish with tender white sauce.
