Nutritious and delicious meal solves many problems. Here is an interesting recipe of a dinner or a supper for those, who like simple food. Classical combination of potato with meat is really great. Everyone will like it! The recipe is easy, so you won`t have problems with cooking nutritious snack.
· Potato – 3 and 3/8 cup
· Wheat flour – 3 tbsp.
· Egg – 1 piece
· Salt – to taste
· Black pepper – to taste
· Minced meat – ¾ cup
· Onion – 1 cup
· Black peppercorn – 5 pieces
· Bay leaf – 1 piece.
1. Wash potatoes carefully and peel. Then peel onion. Grate vegetables.
2. Get rid of extra juice. Pour it into the glass.
3. Add an egg, wheat flour, salt and black pepper into the bowl with grated vegetables. Take the glass with the juice. There will be starch on the top of it. Get rid of the liquid and add starch into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients well.
4. Mix minced meat with salt and black pepper. You may buy it in the supermarket or cook it at home.
5. Use a small amount of potato mass in order to form a pancake. Put meatball in the middle of it. Cover it with potato mass and form a ball. It shouldn`t be too big. There shouldn`t be cracks, for your gnocchi not to fall apart while boiling.
6. Put a pan with water and black peppercorns on the fire. Add salt. Keep in mind that the pan should be big. Put all the balls into the pan. At this stage, water should be already boiling. Cook gnocchi for 25-30 minutes.
7. When the dish is ready, take potato balls out of the pan.
They may be served with sour cream or yummy garlic sauce. Bon Appetite!
