Potato Casserole with Ground Meat

Today we`ll share with you an easy recipe of potato casserole with the thick layer of meat. It is very easy to cook and it takes less than 1 hour to cope with this process.

  1. To begin with, wash potatoes carefully. Peel each one and cook in the salty water until it is soft enough. To cook this dish faster, cut each potato into several slices.
  2. When potato is soft enough, drain the liquid.
  3. Mash potato carefully and add butter into the pan with potato. Pour in warm milk. Mix everything for the dish to be tender and yummy.
  4. Lubricate the form with vegetable oil and add 1/3 of potato into it. Make an even layer in this form.
  5. Grate garlic and chop the onion. Add all these ingredients to the frying with preheated vegetable oil. Fry everything for 30 seconds.
  6. Add fresh ground meat. We recommend mixing 2 types of ground meat. Fry everything, stirring constantly from time to time. Do not forget to add spices and pepper.
  7. When you`re done, transfer it to the empty bowl. Whisk everything with additional egg.
  8. Transfer the layer of meat on the top of the potato. Cover everything with the rest of mashed potato.
  9. Top your dish with a good portion of grated cheese. If you want to make your meal juicy, add several slices of butter.
  10. Bake everything in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Your dish will be baked though and very tasty.
