Perfect Mashed Potato


This is one of the simplest and most widespread dishes in the world. Though it`s considered to be primitive, you can easily turn it into a real masterpiece!
To make this dish really great, choose qualitative potato and mix it with the hot liquid (no matter whether it`s water, milk or cream). One more secret is to add garlic or garlic sauce. It will definitely make the taste of the garnish better.

  1. Before cooking this yummy meal, you`ll need to prepare the ingredients. Wash potatoes, using a brush. Peel each vegetable and wash them one more time. Leave it for 30-60 minutes. It will help you to get rid of the extra starch.
  2. Boil water in the pan. Add chopped potato into the pan. Cook vegetables until they are soft. Add salt when potato is almost ready.
  3. Take another pan and boil 200 ml of water in it. Add garlic cloves into the pan. It shouldn`t be peeled. Cook vegetables for 1-2 minutes. Then strain all the cloves. Peel them.
  4. Melt butter in the frying pan. Add garlic. Slow down the fire. Stew fragrant garlic for 15-20 minutes. Stir everything from time to time for the mass not to burn.
  5. Mash fried garlic. Add the flour, cooking kind of spicy sauce.
  6. Heat milk in the small pan. Add it into the pan with the garlic sauce.
  7. Take the pan with the boiled potato. Strain the water for the mass to be dry.
  8. Add the rest of butter into the pan. Salt and pepper vegetables.

Serve this yummy dish with the garlic sauce. This garnish tastes great in combination with meat, sausages, fish and vegetables. Bon Appetite!
