Instructions:
  1. Start cooking pecan bars by making the crunchy crust. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cover the tray with parchment. To make the crust you need to whip 0.5 cup of soft butter with brown sugar. This mass should be airy and tender.
  2. Stir in flour and add salt to taste. Flatten the layer of this crust in the tray. Bake it for about 20 minutes. It will become light golden-brown.
  3. In the meantime, make the tender filling. All you need is to mix heavy cream with the rest of the sugar, butter, honey and vanilla. Chop pecans and add them into the pan with this filling.
