Pasta with tomatoes and shrimp

When pasta is cooked with interesting sauces, it tastes better than restaurant dishes. The most important thing is to choose qualitative spaghetti. As for the sauce, it will enrich the taste of your dish. Most of people prefer to cook it with cream sauce. Today I want to teach you to cook yummy pasta with tomato sauce. It`s very tasty as well!
At the same time, this sauce is low in calories and tastes great in combination with shrimp. Though the sauce seems to be complicated, cook it and do not replace any ingredient with something else. Cook this pasta with shrimp and homemade sauce, following my instruction, and you`ll be stunned.

Tomatoes

Vegetable bouillon cube

Dry spicy pepper
1 pinch
Olive oil
50 ml
Cognac, brandy or white wine
20 ml
Sugar
0.5 tsp

Ground black pepper

Fresh basil
5 leaves
Lemon (zest)
1 pcs
Green onion

Instructions:
  1. First, defrost shrimp. Cut off their heads, do not touch the tails. It`s recommended to use unshelled shrimp.
  2. Cut each shrimp across and clean it.
  3. Put heads and shells into the pan. Add water, bouillon cube and cook everything for 15 minutes. As soon as the broth boils, turn off the fire. If you continue cooking, the broth will be bitter.
  4. Strain the broth, get rid of the shells and heads. Leave it to cool down.
  5. Sprinkle shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper and mix them.
  6. Preheat deep frying pan. Fry shrimp for 30 seconds from both sides. Take them out of the pan and put into the plate.
  7. Cut onion into four pieces. Put it into the pan with shrimp, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sugar and a pinch of dry pepper.
  8. Chop garlic. Add it into the pan and mix with alcohol. If you`re a real pro, flambé your vegetables.
  9. Meanwhile cut tomatoes into small cubes. When the alcohol disappears, add them into the pan.
  10. Pour shrimp broth on the top of this vegetable mass. Wait until it boils and start adding spaghetti or linguine.
  11. Slow down the fire. Cook everything for 10 minutes. Add butter and mix all the ingredients.
  12. When the sauce is already thick, turn the fire off and add chopped basil leaves into the pan. You may replace it with a half of teaspoon of dry basil. Then add grated lemon zest, green onion and mix everything one more time.
Add ground black pepper and serve this dish. There will be enough dish to feed 2 people. That`s it. Bon Appetite!
