Instructions:
  1. Open the can with tomatoes. Pour them into a pan with a thick bottom together with fresh chopped tomatoes. Add tomato paste. Place the pan over the heat and pour in the wine.
  2. Stir everything together carefully. If you want to use stock, you should add it now. If you want to make the sauce vegan, use vegetarian broth. You can also choose chicken or beef broth to enrich the taste of the sauce.
  3. Simmer it for several minutes.
  4. Now it's time to add the spices. Mash garlic, chop fresh basil, thyme, marjoram and oregano. Add everything into the pot. Rub all the herbs between your fingers for them to give the dish more flavor.
