  1. Preheat the oven to 392 F.
  2. Clean zucchini, remove the seeds if the zucchini is overripe.
  3. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater.
  4. Clean the apple and grate on a coarse grater.
  5. Take a deep bowl and put grated zucchini and apple into it.
  6. Add salt, sugar and leave it for 2-3 minutes for the zucchini to give the juice.
  7. Take another bowl and put eggs in it. Whip everything with a fork or a whisk.
  8. Mix eggs with zucchini.
  9. Sift the flour and add into the bowl.
  10. Add vanillin.
  11. Knead the dough. Note: the dough should be a little thicker than for pancakes.
  12. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Mix well.
  13. Add soda and mix it with vinegar or fresh lemon juice.
  14. Take the baking form, cover it with butter or non-stick mixture.
  15. Put the dough into the baking pan.
  16. Put it into the oven, preheated to 392 F and bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  17. Leave it to cool down.
  18. Decorate the cake as you wish. I prefer to dust it with sugar powder. Note: if you wish to make a real cake, cut the basic cake into 2 or 3 parts and cover them with syrup or cream.
