Meat Chops with Mushrooms


Today I want to share with you simple and very interesting recipe for yummy pies with mushrooms. They are easy to cook, juicy and fragrant. You may cook them for lunch or dinner and eat with any garnish you like.

  1. First you`ll need to cut onion and mushrooms into thin slices. I prefer to use mushrooms while cooking this dish.
  2. Fill the pan with the oil and stew onion in it. When it`s soft, add sliced mushrooms.
  3. Fry them until the liquid disappears. Then you`ll need to leave this mass to cool down.
  4. Put white bread into the bowl with the milk.
  5. Fill the bowl with minced meat. It may be beef, pork or even ground poultry. In fact, you may also mix all these types of meat.
  6. Combine minced meat with fried mushrooms, egg and soft bread.
  7. Add salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything really well.
  8. Form small chops, using wet hands. Roll them in the breadcrumbs. However, you may go on without breadcrumbs or flour. Just fry your chops on the preheated oven.
  9. Unlike traditional meat chops, these should be fried on the slow fire. In this case they won`t burn.
  10. Cook these chops from both sides.

Serve hot fragrant chops with mushrooms hot. If you like, you may add any vegetable salad, potato or macaroni to make your meal more diverse.
