Lemon Roll

  1. Take puff pastry out of the fridge. Wash raisins, put them into the bowl and add hot water into it. Leave it for several minutes in the water. If the raisins are too dry, wait for several hours.
  2. Wash lemon. Peel it and cut into squares.
  3. Put them into the bowl of the blender. Add sugar to taste.
  4. Add cornstarch into the bowl.
  5. Chop raisins if they are big.
  6. Roll one sheet of dough.
  7. Cover it with the half of the lemon filling. The edges shouldn`t be covered.
  8. Put raisins on the top.
  9. Roll the dough and fix the edges.
  10. Stick the surface of the roll in several places.
  11. Lubricate it with vegetable oil. Repeat this process with the second sheet of dough.
  12. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Then turn the fire down and bake your roll at 392 degrees for 45 minutes.
