Traditional American Meringue pie with lemons. This dessert is sweet enough, so you should eat small portions of such a pie. I recommend serving this delicacy with a cup of tea.

Instructions:
  1. Mix the dough. Add flour, salt, sugar and butter into the bowl of the blender. Turn this mass into crumbs.
  2. Add water and knead the dough. Do not work with it for too long. Otherwise the dough won`t be soft anymore. Form a ball and cover it with the plastic wrap. Put it into the fridge for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Take the dough out of the fridge and flatten it.
  4. Put the dough into the form.
  5. Stick it with the fork. Cover it with the tinfoil and add rice, beans or peas.
  6. Put this form into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes at 356 F.
  7. Get rid of the tinfoil.
  8. Now you may cook delicious filling.
  9. Grate lemon zest.
  10. Whip yolks with the whisk.
  11. Mix them with zest, sugar and starch in the pan.
  12. Heat this mass until smooth.
  13. Take the pan off the fire. Add half of this mass into the bowl with the yolks. Whip everything quickly. Pour this mass into the pan again. Boil everything and add butter. Mix all the ingredients. Fill the dough with this lemon mass.
  14. Cook tender meringue. Whip whites with sugar.
  15. Cover the dough with this white layer. If you like, you may add more tender cream. In this case, your pie will be sweeter.
  16. Bake the cake for 8-10 minutes.

Leave it to cool down and enjoy the taste.
