Instructions:
  1. Wash lemons carefully. Peel zest and grate it. Squeeze lemon`s juice. There will be about 80 ml of the fresh juice.
  2. Take a glass bowl and mix egg yolks with the sugar, lemon juice and zest in it. Mix everything until the mass is smooth.
  3. Pour water into the pan and boil it. Slow down the fire. Put the pan with the whipped egg mass and cook the cream until it gets thicker. Stir everything constantly for there not to be yellow lumps.
  4. Cut tender soft butter into pieces. Add them into the pan as well, waiting until each slice melts.
  5. Take the pan off the fire. Strain everything slowly. Cover the bowl with the plastic wrap. You`re done! Now you know the easy lemon curd recipe and can cook perfect desserts.

  •         If the lemon curd can not get thicker, turn on the fire while cooking it. And don`t forget to stir everything constantly.
