Lazy Cabbage Pie

This lazy pie is both delicious and easy to cook. Nowadays this recipe is one of my favourite as it saves me, when I`m too busy or tired. One more benefit of this pie is that you may cook it with any stuffing you like. Try it, and you won`t regret!

Instructions:
  1. First, chop cabbage and onion.
  2. Fry onion on the slow fire until it`s soft. Add cabbage and stew for several minutes. Don`t forget to stir if from time to time.
  3. Salt and pepper vegetables. When the cabbage is ready, add chopped dill and mix everything well.
  4. Cook the dough. Break 3 eggs into the bowl, add salt, sour cream and whip everything until smooth.
  5. Take a separate bowl and fill it with flour. Add baking soda into it. Mix these dry ingredients.
  6. Melt butter and pour it into the bowl with whipped eggs. Keep in mind, that it shouldn`t be too hot. Mix this mass until smooth.
  7. Slowly add the flour. At the end, this mass should remind the dough you make for pancakes.
  8. Mix the dough and the stuffing. Cabbage shouldn`t be hot at this stage.
  9. Lubricate the form with butter and dust it with a bit of flour.
  10. Pour the dough into this form.
  11. Preheat the oven and bake your pie for 1 hour at 392 degrees.
