If you like traditional Honey Cake, you should try to cook it with sour cream and berries. This dessert is fragrant, tasty and fresh! I recommend to cook it with banana and prunes. However, you may use other dry fruits, nuts or even fresh fruits.

Instructions:
  1. Cook the dough: preheat water in the pan and cover it with the wider bowl or pot. Mix eggs with sugar and honey. Add baking soda and mix everything one more time.
  2. Put this mass on the water bath. Heat it, stirring everything constantly for 7-10 minutes. Add butter and wait until it melts.
  3. Take the pan off the fire and add the half of the whole flour. Leave this dough to cool down.
  4. Then you need to add the rest of the flour. Divide the dough into 8 parts.
  5. Preheat the oven to 380 F. Cover the tray with baking paper. Roll each ball into the thin circle and stick it with a fork for the dough not to grow in size. For the circle to be even, use the plate and knife while forming it. Do not get rid of the leftovers.
  6. Bake each layer for 4 minutes in the preheated pan. Form a pile.
  7. Now let`s cook yummy cream. Mix cold sour cream with sugar and vanilla. It should be rather fat. Whip everything well.
  8. Cut prunes into pieces. Grate banana or cut it as well.
  9. Form your honey cake. Cover each layer with tender cream, banana and prunes. When the cake is ready, decorate it with the rest of sour cream.
  10. Mash the leftovers of the dough in the blender. You may use rolling pin instead.
  11. Use these sweet crumbs to decorate the top and the edges of the cake. I also recommend you to use berries for decorating this amazing dessert. Finally, put the cake into the fridge for several hours.
