Honey Cake. Best Classic Cake

This is one of the best classical cakes. You must have tried it at least once in your life. If you have never tasted this delicacy, cook it, following our instructions. This cake is cooked with sweet sour cream with condensed milk. This is what makes our honey cake so special and tender.

Instructions:
  1. Mix eggs, sugar and salt. Whip everything with the whisk.
  2. Add butter, honey and baking soda.
  3. Put water bath on the oven and start melting this mass. Mix everything constantly until the mass becomes twice bigger. It usually takes about 15 minutes.
  4. Take it of the fire. Sift the flour through the sieve and add it into the pan. The dough will be soft and sticky. Cover the bowl with the dough with plastic wrap. Leave it to cool down for several minutes.
  5. Divide all the dough into 5-6 parts.
  6. Cover the table with a bit of flour. Roll the dough until it`s about 0,2 inches.
  7. Put it into the tray, covered with baking paper. Bake for 3-5 minutes at 392 degrees.
  8. Then take it out of the oven and put on the table. You may use a big plate to give your pastry right form. Do it with the rest of dough.
  9. The rest of pastry should be beaten with blender. As the result you`ll have a bowl full crumbs.
  10. Make a nice cream. Mix sour cream and condensed milk in blender until smooth.
  11. Put pastry in the plate and cover each layer with sweet cream.
  12. Decorate the surface of the cake with crumbs and leave it for several hours in the cold place. You may even put it into the fridge for the whole night.

If you want your honey cake to look better, decorate it with bees made of mastic. One more advice is to use homemade condensed milk. It`s much tastier. Still, even if you buy in the nearest supermarket, you`ll have delicious cake. Bon Appetite!
