Instructions:
  1. Take a large bowl and mix flour with baking powder and salt in it.
  2. Slowly pour in vegetable oil. Mix everything for about one more minute for the batter to become smooth.
  3. Add warm water and stir everything carefully. Form the dough into a tight ball.
  4. Divide it into 16 equal portions. Roll each one, forming a flat circle. Transfer these would-be tortillas to the plate and cover with a paper towel.
  5. Leave the tortillas for 15 minutes in a warm place.
  6. When you are ready to cook tortillas, preheat a frying pan with a thick bottom. Add oil.
  7. Cook each tortilla for about a minute from both sides. It will be crunchy enough and will have a nice golden-brown color.
  8. When the tortilla is ready, transfer it to the plate, covered with a paper towel.
