Homemade Azerbaijan Bread

  1. Take a bowl and mix water with olive oil in it. Add flour and knead the dough. Cover the bowl with the plastic wrap and leave it for a half an hour.
  2. Chop onion and herbs. Fry onion in the pan with butter. Add herbs. Whip an egg with salt and pepper and pour this liquid into the pan as well. Mix everything quickly and take the pan off the fire.
  3. Form 8 thin “pancakes”. Cover 4 of them with the chopped herbs. Now you need to put the rest of the “pancakes” on the top. Form thin pies and fry them in the pan, covered with oil for 4 minutes.
