Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Like potatoes au gratin, this dish should be cooked in a preheated oven.
  2. Take a sharp knife. Cut each potato carefully, but not all the way through so that the potato doesn’t lose its form. Use soft melted butter to cover the holes. If you are going to use olive oil, sprinkle the potato with it. Do the same if you mix it with melted butter.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the potato to taste.
