Guacamole A Delicious Recipe


This is traditional Mexican dish with classical list of ingredients: lime or lemon juice, avocado and salt. I want to share with you one of the ways of cooking this spicy dish. Try to cook it, I`m sure, you`ll like this recipe.

  1. Wash avocado and wipe it with paper towel. I recommend you to choose ripe fruit. Such a fruit should be rather soft. There shouldn`t be any dark spots or damaged parts on it. If your avocado is unripe, cover it with paper and put into some dark place for 2-3 days.
  2. Cut avocado in half and get rid of the pit.
  3. I recommend you to make several cuts near this pit and take it out of the pulp, using tea spoon
  4. Sprinkle both halves of the fruit with lemon or lime juice. Separate pulp and skin.
  5. Mash avocado, using a fork and sprinkle with the lemon juice once again.
  6. Wash tomato and cut into small cubes.
  7. Chop garlic and onion. I recommend you to use small onion. In this case the taste of your guacamole will be perfect.
  8. Wash cilantro and chop it. Put mashed avocado into the bowl. Add tomato, garlic, onion and chopped cilantro.
  9. Salt and pepper your guacamole and mix all the ingredients well.

If you like spicy dishes, add chopped chilli pepper into the bowl. Guacamole may be served right after cooking. If you have time, put it into the fridge to cool down. Serve it with fresh bread or eat it as a garnish with baked sea fish and chicken. You must eat your guacamole as soon as possible. In 24 hours it`s taste will be spoiled. Enjoy your meal!
