Green Smoothie with Avocado, Cucumber and Lettuce
Today I want to share with you refreshing green smoothie with avocado, cucumber and lettuce. You may cook this fresh drink even in the morning when you have no extra time.
Smoothie with cucumber is light and fresh. It tastes great in combination with creamy avocado. It should be soft and ripe. If the fruit is too hard, you need to leave it for several minutes in the warm place. I recommend you to put it together with bananas and apples.
For the drink to be juicy and healthy, you need to add dark leaves. This lettuce is richer in vitamin C and carotene. To make it tastier I recommend you to add lemon or lime juice. And if you want your breakfast to be really nutritious, decorate it with chia seeds.

First, mix liquid ingredients in the bowl of the blender. Combine water with lemon juice.
To get as much lemon juice as you need, mash it with your hands before you get down to squeezing it. However, if you have a powerful blender, there is another way out. Get rid of zest and put lemon into the bowl. You`ll easily mash citrus and save a lot of vitamins.
Add lettuce. You need to wash and dry this ingredient beforehand. I recommend you to tore the leaves instead of cutting them with the knife. Add leaves into the bowl together with peeled ginger. Mash these ingredients before adding the rest of stuff. In this case your drink will be creamy and really smooth.
Peel avocado and get rid of the core. Cut the flesh into pieces and add it into the bowl.
Peel cucumbers, cut them and add to the rest of ingredients.
Turn your blender on and make creamy smoothie.
