French Fries With No Oil
Delicious French fries is one of favourite dishes for thousands people. It`s served in different fast-foods and frequently eaten together with hamburgers. However, these crunchy oiled potato pieces can’t be called healthy food. But what if we cook it without oil? I bet, this would be a real godsend for all healthy-eaters who fight their love for junk food.
Total calories in the prepared dish
Wash several middle-sized potatoes, peel off the thin skin and slice it. The perfect size of slices you may see at fast-food restaurants and it`s about ¼ inches.
Take a small bowl and whip on egg white. Salt, pepper it and add a bit of paprika.
Pour whipped eggs into the bowl with potato slices and mix them.
Cover the tray with baking sheet and sprinkle it with the vegetable oil. Spread all the potato strips in the single layer.
Preheat the oven and put the tray into it. Bake potato for 15 minutes at 428 °F.
When you get your French fries out of the oven, it`s crunchy and golden-yellow. Put it into the plate and serve with ketchup or any other sauce you like .You may also decorate yellow stripes with the fresh dill or parsley.
This dish is much healthier than classical fries, so, you won`t feel yourself guilty of having tasted these delicious stripes.
