  1. Wash eggplants. Do not cut off the tail. Cut the vegetable across into thin slices. Do not cut the edge of the veggie. Put eggplant into the bowl with salty water. Wait for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile cook the sauce. Wash tomatoes with boiling water and put veggies into the bowl with cold liquid. It will be easier for you to cut off the skin. Then chop tomatoes and stew them with butter until they are soft. Add garlic, sugar, salt and lemon juice.
  3. Cut the rest of tomatoes into thin circles. You also need to cut cheese into thin slices.
  4. Cover baking form with the tinfoil and lubricate it with oil. Put vegetables into this form.
  5. Fill eggplant with tomato circles. Put slices of cheese on the top of it and cover your vegetable with tomato sauce.
  6. Cover everything with the tinfoil and bake it for 40 minutes in the oven.
  7. Then open the tinfoil. Cover this dish with the rest of cheese (you need to grate it beforehand) and put the form into the oven again. Cook it for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Decorate the dish with chopped herbs.
