Instructions:
  1. Take a large pan and add beef and sausage into it. Cook everything until the meat is ready. Get rid of the leftover grease.
  2. Cut onions into thin pieces and transfer them to the pan. Continue cooking for about five minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and simmer everything for 3 minutes. Add 6 cups of water and half of the spices you’re going to use. We recommend choosing Italian seasoning.
  4. Simmer this dish. In the meantime, mix cottage cheese with grated cheese and whisked egg; add the rest of the spices.
  5. Grease a tray with oil or butter. Add the layer of meat sauce. Cover it with pre-cooked lasagna sheets. If you need to, you can tear the sheets or cut them. Add meat and cheese. Repeat the process again until pan is filled with ingredients.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Cook this dish for 30 minutes. The cheese should be melted and light-brown.
