Instructions:
  1. Take a medium-sized saucepan and melt butter in it. After a minute you should add rice. For cooking traditional Spanish dishes you need to use long grain white rice.
  2. Add ground cumin and salt to taste.
  3. Cook this dish for about 2 minutes. Stir it from time to time.
  4. Now add salsa. Pour in water. Stir everything one more time. Cover the pan with the lid and bring the liquid to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and simmer your dish for 10 minutes. Stir it carefully and taste. If needed, you can add more spices and herbs. Cover the pan with the lid and cook the rice for 4-7 minutes.
  6. Turn of the heat. Do not open the lid. Leave the rice for 5 more minutes in the pan.
