Instructions:
  1. Cooking light and delicious dessert for breakfast is very easy. Start by mixing chia seeds and milk. We recommend using healthy coconut milk as it is very tasty and has a nice fragrance. Mix these ingredients in the glass jar and leave it in the fridge for several hours.
  2. Then stir in rice. It is recommended to use cooled basmati rice. Cook it beforehand. If you want the dish to be warm, heat the mixture in the microwave oven for several minutes.
  3. Add tender cream. If you want to make this dessert vegan, choose coconut cream. Add sweetener to taste. The most obvious choice is stevia.
  4. Cut bananas into thin slices. Decorate the dish with fresh fruit. If you like, you can add one more pinch of chia seeds on top of the dessert.

Serve this meal immediately or leave it in the fridge for several more hours. Unlike grandma's old fashioned rice pudding which is baked and high in calories, this one is rather healthy. Cook this diet version of the classical southern dessert and start your day with healthy food and a good mood.

 We can also share several ideas on how to make this dish even more interesting. Choose your favorite combination of ingredients:

  •         Pears + almond + almond milk;
  •         Mango + coconut + coconut milk;
  •         Orange (or tangerine) + honey and milk.

 You can also try something new, stirring in your favorite fruit and nuts. Bon Appetit!
