Instructions:
  1. Cacciatore recipe is rather easy. For cooking this dish you’ll need to prepare the meat beforehand. Wash chicken drumsticks in cold water. Cut off the skin and wipe them with a paper towel. Wash the carrot thoroughly and peel it. Peel the onion and garlic as well. Chop them into small cubes.
  2. Put the pan on a stove top. Add olive oil. Fry chicken drumsticks until they are golden-yellow.
  3. Slowly add wine into the pan. As soon as the liquid starts to boil, reduce the heat and cover the pan with a lid.
  4. Stew everything for 7-10 minutes. Now you may add chopped onion, carrot and celery.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything one more time and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes. At this point, add tomato sauce or fresh tomato pulp. Pour either hot water or chicken broth into the same pot. You may add more spices to taste, as required.
  6. Later add rosemary and garlic. You can either chop the garlic into thin pieces or mash it. Instead of rosemary you may use any other herbs you prefer.
  7. Cover the pan with a lid and stew everything for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
