To begin with, you should know several secrets. You always need to choose fresh dark-green vegetables. Put them into the bowl with cold water and leave them for 2-8 hours. Change this water regularly. The colder water you use, the more crunchy cucumbers you`ll cook.
You also need to choose good spices. Do not add to much garlic for the cucumbers not to be soft. As for the bay leaves, pepper and other spices you like, you may add them to taste.
