Homemade pickles should be crunchy and yummy. Today we`ll share with you a simple recipe for this yummy snack.
To begin with, you should know several secrets. You always need to choose fresh dark-green vegetables. Put them into the bowl with cold water and leave them for 2-8 hours. Change this water regularly. The colder water you use, the more crunchy cucumbers you`ll cook.
You also need to choose good spices. Do not add to much garlic for the cucumbers not to be soft. As for the bay leaves, pepper and other spices you like, you may add them to taste.

Instructions:
  1. Soak cucumbers in the bowl with cold water for 6 hours. Fill glass jars with vegetables, garlic, carrot, dill and parsley.
  2. Add boiling water into each jar and leave them for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the water and add new portion of hot liquid.
  4. Meanwhile boil water with sugar, salt, spices and leaves.
  5. Use this marinade to cover cucumbers in each jar.
  6. Cover each jar with the lid and leave them in the warm place.

You may eat these cucumbers with all your favourite garnishes, or use them while cooking various salads.
