Instructions:
  1. Start with making onion rings batter. Whisk one egg and mix it with milk. Add 2/3 of the flour and baking powder into the bowl.
  2. Take another bowl and mix the rest of the flour with pepper and salt.
  3. Cut onion into even rings. They shouldn`t be too thin. Dip them into the bowl with dry ingredients.
  4. Now you need to dip each onion ring into the bowl with the batter.
  5. Finally you need to cover each ring with breadcrumbs.
  6. Preheat deep frying pan with oil. When it is hot, add onion rings into the pan and cook them for several minutes until they have light golden color. It usually takes about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer cooked onion rings to the plate, covered with paper towels. You crispy fried onion rings are ready and you can serve them immediately.

If you are vegan, you can still cook this snack, slightly changing deep fried onion rings recipe. Replace dairy milk with coconut milk or almond milk. The taste of the snack will still be great.
