Instructions:
  1. To make this homemade dessert with a delicious taste, you should start by blooming the yeast. Take a bowl and mix warm milk with sugar and yeast. Stir it slowly, using a fork. Set it aside for five minutes.
  2. Now you can make the dough. Slowly add flour until the mass is thick enough. Add salt and mix everything slowly for the dough to become smooth. Transfer the dough on the table and knead it until it’s soft and not sticky. Form a tight ball and cover it with plastic wrap. Leave it in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  3. In the meantime you can prepare the butter. Cut it into long sticks and wrap them with plastic wrap. Put it into the fridge again.
  4. The next step is the most important. It is laminating the dough. Take butter out of the fridge. Flatten it, using a rolling pin. Smack it carefully for it to turn into a thin layer. Get rid of the plastic wrap.
  5. Dust the table with the flour. Flatten the dough, place pieces of butter on top of it. Wrap it carefully. Form a tight envelope. Fold it over and over again. Cover it with plastic wrap again and leave in the fridge for one more hour. If you can, you should leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
  6. Now you can get down to forming croissants. Take the dough out of the fridge and cut it in half. If you want to make less croissants, you can freeze one half of the dough. Roll it carefully and cut into 4 triangles. It is very easy to do it, if you use a pizza cutter.
  7. Roll these triangles as well for them to become thinner. Fill them with any delicious filling you like (jam, chocolate, caramel). Form croissants.
  8. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Transfer all the croissants onto a baking tray. Bake them for 9-11 minutes.

 Your sweet dessert is ready! You can serve them immediately. However, you can also store your croissants in the freezer. Put them into the container or freezer bag and freeze. They can be stored for 1-2 month.
